The Adelaide 4000 Class train is an electric multiple unit EMU train, also known as the A-City train, which operates on the Gawler, Seaford and Flinders lines. Built by Bombardier (now Alstom), these are Adelaide's only operational electric trains, entering service between 2014 and 2015. The 34 three-car sets are designed for suburban travel and include modern amenities like air conditioning, LED displays, and priority seating.
