The new D set is hitting the intercity network as the V sets are progressively retired. The New South Wales D sets, also referred to as the Mariyung trains, are a class of electric multiple units that operate on Sydney Trains intercity lines. Built by Hyundai Rotem, the trains currently operate on the Central Coast & Newcastle Line, and the Blue Mountains Line.
